Udo Krause

Udo Krause (born July 3, 1932 , † June 23, 1988 in East Berlin ) was a German journalist , court reporter and lawyer .

Life

Udo Krause was one of the founding members of the FDJ in Güstrow . His father was taken to the Oranienburg concentration camp in 1936 and is considered missing. In 1948 Udo Krause wrote an article for New Life about the abolition of corporal punishment in schools. At the age of 16 he joined the SED and two years later was commissioned to take over the Rostock radio studio. In 1952 he moved to Berlin to broadcast of the GDR into Broadcasting House Nalepastraße working in the business. In 1959 he was one of the co-founders of the Hörbericht editorial team .

On February 4, 1960, the series, developed by him, began broadcasting Not Just One Act . In the fall of 1960 he began a distance learning law course, which he completed with a doctorate in 1969. Most recently, Krause was head of the legal policy department. He died on June 23, 1988 at the age of 56.
