Guarantor

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The union Garanto ( own spelling garaNto ) was created in 2001 from the merger of the Association of Swiss Customs Officials (VSZB) and the Association of Swiss Customs Personnel . The union represents all personnel groups in the customs administration. The chief customs director is represented in exactly the same way as the customs assistant, who forms the lowest hierarchical level.

garaNto is politically independent and denominationally neutral.

The union is headed by a part-time central board. This is supported by the central secretariat, which is led by a full-time central secretary. The central secretariat supports the central board in an advisory capacity in negotiations with the federal government.

The trilingual union newspaper "garaNto" serves as the publication organ. This appears monthly and has a circulation of around 4,300 copies.
