Gardan GY-80 Horizon is a single-engine small aircraft from the French manufacturer Gardan , developed by Yves Gardan and built by Sud Aviation. The low-wing aircraft was produced in different versions with and without retractable landing gear . The retractable landing gear is retracted or extended simultaneously with the landing flaps by 19 turns with a hand crank.

The crew consists of one pilot, a maximum of three passengers can fly. Its takeoff weight is 1020–1150 kilograms.

The length of the machine is 6.53 meters, the wingspan 9.69 meters and the height 2.59 meters. The aircraft can fly at a maximum of 280 km / h. It reaches a height of 5000 meters and has a range of 1225 kilometers.

272 machines of this type were produced from 1963 to 1968 in three different engine variants (150, 160 and 180 HP) and with two different types of propellers (adjustable or fixed).
