The uterine carcinoma ( uterine cancer ) is a malignant tumor of epithelial cells ( carcinoma ) of the womb (uterus). Based on the localization, a distinction is made between the following forms:
- Cervical carcinoma - carcinoma of the cervix uteri (cervix), (also called collum carcinoma)
- Corpus carcinoma - carcinoma of the endometrium (uterine lining)
