Geilhaufen
A Geilhaufen or Geilstelle is an area in a pasture where the grass grows lush ( horny ). It is caused by cow dung or horse droppings , which means that the area is initially less grazed. Regulated grazing reduces hot spots on the pastures, as the multi-grass is removed by mowing.
