Burnt Store Marina is located on Charlotte Harbor and 20 miles northwest of Fort Myers . Tampa is 180 km and Miami 280 km away.

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the 1793 inhabitants at that time were distributed over 1961 households, most of which are holiday homes used as second homes. The population density was 560.3 inh / km². 98.8% of the population identified themselves as whites, 0.1% as African American , 0.1% as Indians and 0.5% as Asian Americans . 0.2% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 0.3% to several ethnic groups. 1.6% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 1.8% of all households and people aged 65 or over lived in 70.9% of all households. 76.1% of the households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring).
