Lochmoor Waterway Estates is located on the Caloosahatchee River and borders Cape Coral . Fort Myers is on the other side of the river . Tampa is approximately 190 km and Miami 150 km away.

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 4204 inhabitants were distributed over 2287 households. The population density was 724.8 inh / km². 93.2% of the population identified themselves as whites, 2.0% as African American , 0.4% as Indians and 1.5% as Asian Americans . 1.4% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 1.4% to several ethnic groups. 7.1% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .
