Charleston Park is a census-designated place (CDP) in Lee County in the US state of Florida with a population of 218 (as of 2010).

Charleston Park is touched by Florida State Road 80 and is located around 25 km east of Fort Myers . Tampa and Miami are each approximately 130 miles away.

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the 218 inhabitants at that time were distributed over 106 households. The population density was 726.7 inh / km². 20.6% of the population identified themselves as whites, 74.8% as African American and 0.5% as Asian Americans . 1.8% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 2.3% to several ethnic groups. 9.6% of the population was Hispanic or Latino .

In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 38.4% of all households and persons aged 65 or over lived in 36.0% of all households. 61.6% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.53 and the average family size was 3.19.
