Matlacha Isles-Matlacha Shores is located on the Gulf of Mexico and borders directly on the city of Cape Coral . The CDP is located approximately 21 km west of Fort Myers . Tampa is approximately 190 km and Miami 250 km away.

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 229 inhabitants were distributed over 177 households. The population density was 381.7 inh / km². 98.3% of the population identified themselves as whites, 0.4% as Indians and 3.1% as Asian Americans . 3.5% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .
