There are no secondary colors, only at the end of the flower the nerves can be of a slightly darker color. The skin is generally not wetted. It can be heavily wrinkled or not wrinkled, but not ribbed. There are no seams. The pulp is greenish-white to slightly orange towards the seed cavity. The fruit stalk does not come off by itself and is usually present on the fruit. Honeydew melons consist of approx. 85% water and contain vitamins A, B1 and B2 as well as calcium and phosphorus.
