Joint agency for end-of-life vehicles in the federal states

The Joint Agency for End-of-Life Vehicles of the Federal States (GESA) is an institution set up and operated by the German Federal States that collects data on recognized dismantling companies, shredders and other systems for the treatment of end- of- life vehicles centrally for the Federal Republic of Germany in order to implement the End- of- Life Vehicle Ordinance . GESA's information is made available to both the enforcement authorities and the interested public.
