Gennaro Vecchione
Gennaro Vecchione is a general in the Guardia di Finanza . He is currently in charge of the Dipartimento delle Informazioni per la Sicurezza , which coordinates the civil intelligence services in Italy . Vecchione was trained at the Guardia di Finanza officers' school from 1978. From 1982 he served in managerial positions in various locations across Italy. In 2017 he took over the management of the police college Scuola di perfezionamento per le forze di polizia in Rome.
