Signal-to-noise ratio

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As noise ratio (formerly also evaluated Eigenstörspannungsabstand) refers to the difference between the reference sound pressure level of 94  dB (corresponding to an absolute sound pressure of 1  Pascal ) and the equivalent noise . In contrast to the equivalent noise level, a lower value here means more noise from the microphone and thus less modulation capability .
