Geraistos (son of Zeus)

Geraistos ( Greek  Γεραιστός ) is a son of Zeus in Greek mythology .

His mother's name is unknown. His brother was Tainaros . The Geraistos promontory on Euboia, sacred to Poseidon, and a village of the same name on Euboia are named after him. The only source is Stephanos Byzantios sv Γεραιστός.
