Gerd Fries

Gerd Fries (born October 14, 1942 ) is a German Taekwondoin. He was the first German champion in Taekwondo . The first German Taekwondo championship took place in September 1967. In this he won the gold medal. The championships were held back then without weight classes, so he was the only winner in 1967. A year later he won bronze at the German championship.
