Martina-Gerlinde Aurich-Lang (first Gerlinde-Martina Klepsch , then until 1979 G. Martina Aurich-Klepsch also Auric-Klepsch, then G.Martina Aurich-Lang , * 1924 in Czernowitz , Romania ) is a German sculptor, draftsman and graphic artist.

Life

From 1948 to 1954 she studied sculpture with Peter Otto Heim at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart .

In a competition for the design for the Heilbronn Hall of Honor, in which 54 proposals were submitted, it was awarded first prize in 1960. The impression made by the work was praised: “Very orderly drama, reminiscent of the terrible experience of the war. Apocalyptic Impression ". The design showed a bright, simple hall with a wall relief; made of bronze, stylized corpses were laid one on top of the other to show the horrors of war. Mayor Paul Meyle declined to implement the award-winning design.

Her work for the Ehrenhalle in Heilbronn and the local employment office was awarded.

Gerlinde-Martina Klepsch lives in Stuttgart.
