Description in the landscape plan: “The landscape component is northwest of the village of Wahl. It is a near-natural stream course with spring meadows and other spring areas, alluvial forest remains (alder-ash forest), stream-accompanying woodland and an adjacent meadow fallow with a small body of water. Protection purpose
According to the landscape plan, the designation was made “to ensure the efficiency of the natural balance by maintaining a near-natural stream floodplain as a habitat, in particular for the characteristic communities of flowing waters including the spring zones, wet meadows, small bodies of water and alluvial forests and their characteristic animal and plant species and to structure and revitalize the landscape by securing natural and diverse landscape elements.
