History workshop Saarbrücken
The history workshop Saarbrücken was founded in 1989 as a history association .
Since 1989 she has published the magazine "Eckstein. Journal for History". The magazine is named after Nikolaus Warken , known as Eckstein, a miner in the Saar area. The "Eckstein" mainly publishes articles on everyday, regional, industrial and women's history in the Saarland. The history workshop participates in regional historical debates with reviews of books on Saarland history.
There is a cooperation with the Volkshochschule of the Saarbrücken regional association.
