Taste (from mhd.  Gesmac  for 'scent, stench, the ability to taste, taste') stands for:

  • Taste as a sense of taste in the narrower physiological sense as gustatory perception
  • Taste (sensory impression) , the associated multimodal perception (including smell)
  • Taste (culture) , subjective value judgment: that something pleases someone (aesthetically, socially, ethically or morally understandable)
