The Society for European Education (GEB) is an association of friends and supporters of the European idea. This was founded in 2005 in Berlin . There has been a branch in London since 2009 .

The GEB awards grants and organizes internships for vocational training within the framework of the EU program Leonardo da Vinci . It promotes networking and further training for teachers and supports individual stays abroad for people of all ages who want to further their professional and cultural education.

The company takes part in the process of European cooperation in the field of vocational training ( Copenhagen process ) and develops projects for the practical application of the European credit point system ECVET .

Another focus of the association's work is the promotion of civic engagement and civil society in Europe.

The majority of GEB projects are funded by the Directorate General for Education and Culture of the European Commission .
