Society for Intercultural Philosophy

The Society for Intercultural Philosophy / Société de Philosophie Interculturelle / Society of Intercultural Philosophy (GIP) was established in 1992 as a non-profit association of Ram Adhar Mall founded and now has members in all parts of the world, working together on the matter of philosophy intercultural work. It is important to open the narrow barriers of one's own cultural conditionality in philosophizing and to deal with the philosophical efforts of other, initially foreign cultures, both systematically and historically in mutual exchange.

To this end, the GIP and its sister companies hold regular meetings and congresses; the discussion is also carried out in numerous publications. The members of the GIP also endeavor to publicize the issue of interculturality in lectures, in research and teaching and in discussion groups. Discussion groups take place at regional level.
