GFI. Society for medical information mbH was founded in 1986 as a medical publishing house in Munich . GFI publishes as essential publishing products. three specialist journals for doctors - the Praxis-Depesche , the Neuro-Depesche and the Gyn-Depesche - as well as the Apotheken-Depesche, the findings from the most important international congresses and from 400 world-leading journals (such as BMJ, JAMA, Lancet, NEJM, AJOG , BJOG, Pharmacology), which shape therapeutic practice worldwide, summarize and comment for the doctor and pharmacist.
In addition to the trade journals, GFI. also a German-language database for medical study summaries with around 150,000 study summaries.
