Ghost notes

In Ghost Notes or attacking shots is very silent strokes, mainly on rhythm instruments (drums, percussion) are played and serve to lend more groove and dynamics a rhythm. Often not consciously perceived by inexperienced listeners, they fulfill an important task.

Use and purpose

Ghost Notes are specifically used by percussionists , drummers and rock guitarists to add depth and fullness to the rhythm .
