The Giant Sequoia National Monument is a national monument in the southwest of the Sierra Nevada in central California . It is administered by the United States Forest Service as part of the Sequoia National Forest . It contains one of the ten largest sequoias , the Boole Tree with a height of over 82 meters and a circumference of 34 meters at the base.

The National Monument consists of two parts. The northern part is adjacent to Kings Canyon National Park , while the southern part is adjacent to the Tule River Indian Reservation .
