Gigl (artist family)

The Gigl (also Giggel , Gügl , Güggel ) were a family of artists to which around 30 plasterers from the Wessobrunn school , known by name, belong.

They include:

Anton Gigl (1700–1769), plasterer
Johann Georg Gigl (1710–1765), plasterer
Johann Kaspar Gigl (1737 – after 1783), plasterer and bricklayer
Johann Michael Gigl , plasterer
