Anton Gigl (* 1700 in Wessobrunn ; † April 4, 1769 in Innsbruck ) was a plasterer of the Wessobrunn school .

Life

Anton and his brother Augustin, who come from the Gigl family of plasterers in Wessobrunn , settled in Innsbruck around 1720 and were the main representatives of lattice and band work there. Another member of the family, Johann Georg Gigl (1710–1765), stayed in Germany.
