Tyrolean art cadastre

The Tyrolean art cadastre is a cadastre in which a systematic scientific inventory of the cultural assets of North and East Tyrol is carried out.

As of December 2014, it is stated that the cultural assets database comprises around 128,000 objects, around 20,000 of which are implemented in a web GIS application on the Internet. There is also a digitally indexed image archive with around 386,000 images. The operator is the state of Tyrol , which from 1968 saw the operation of an art cadastre as a central task. This data has been publicly available on the Internet since January 2005.
