Fulpmes parish church

The Roman Catholic parish church of Fulpmes is located in the village of Fulpmes in the municipality of Fulpmes in the Innsbruck-Land district in Tyrol . The church consecrated to St. Vitus belongs to the deanery Matrei am Brenner in the diocese of Innsbruck . The church is a listed building .
history
The first church to be named was the Sager Chapel in 1368 . Today's church was built after the construction of a beneficiate (1745) according to the plans of the pastor and architect Franz de Paula Penz and the sculptor Joseph Stapf (1746/1747), the building management was incumbent on Johann Michael Umhauser or Matthias Umhauser. The church was consecrated as a curate in 1748. In 1830 the church was renovated inside and in 1882/1884 outside. In 1891 the church was elevated to a parish church. Exterior restorations were in 1925/1927, 1952, 1969. Interior restorations were in 1928, 1971.
architecture
The Rococo church stands in the upper northern area of the village and is surrounded by a cemetery. A transept-like extended area connects to the three-bay nave in the fourth bay. The lower two-bay choir has a semicircular ending.
Furnishing
The organ prospect was based on a design by Clemens Holzmeister , the work was built by Reinisch-Pirchner (1979). Hans Christoph Löffler (1570) cast a bell .
