Gisa rocks
Gisa Felsen ( December 22, 1874 in Kleinzell - after 1900) was an Austrian theater actress .
Life
Felsen attended the Vienna Conservatory for two years and took singing lessons from Gustav Geiringer . She had her first engagement in Nuremberg and then went to the Wallnertheater Berlin. Then she moved to the Theater in der Josefstadt and also took part in the guest performance tours of this ensemble. In 1900 she was engaged for the Thaliatheater Hamburg, where she made her debut as "Blitzmädel".
She was a real soubrette - with a bold sense of humor and a certain boyish nature - who fulfilled her tasks with pleasure and love. From the series of her achievements, the following should be mentioned: "Nandl", "Resi" in Gigerl von Wien , "Frau Leutnant", "Burgl" in Fechtbrüder , "Junge Frau" in honeymoon etc.
