Gitte Reingaard

Gitte Reingaard actually Regitze Reingaard (born February 21, 1943 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish actress .

Life

After graduating from school, she initially worked as a trained educator in a kindergarten. As a film actress Reingaard first made her debut in 1967 in the short film Copenhagen Design and in 1969 in the film Midt i en jazztid (In the middle of a jazz age) as Esther Schmidt on and in the documentary Gitte i april . In 1969 she had other appearances in Den gale dansker as a waitress and in 1970 in the Danish film adaptation of Henry Miller's novel Silent Days in Clichy as a party participant and in the same year in Hej Stine! as Martin and August's mother. She starred in a total of five Danish films until she left the film industry in 1970 and finally gave up the acting profession. She then worked for many years as director of Berlingske Tidendes - kindergarten in Copenhagen.
