Gløshaugen is a plateau-like hill south of downtown Trondheim in Norway .

From 1905 the campus of the Norwegian Technical University (NTH) was built on Gløshaugen . After several expansions, the campus now occupies the entire Gløshaugen plateau. In 1996 NTH was merged with other Trondheim universities to form the Technical and Natural Sciences University of Norway (NTNU).
