Glade is a free visual programming environment ( Rapid Application Development , RAD) for intuitive creation of GTK + - user interfaces (GUI). Glade is independent of the programming language used . It does not generate program code for events, but rather an XML file and - if required - one or more C files in which the programmer inserts his program code. Glade is available in two versions - one for GTK + 2 and one for version 3. It is subject to the terms of the GNU General Public License .
