Glazing corner

Glazier triangles

As a rule, flat equilateral triangles made of sheet metal with an edge length of approx. 10 mm are referred to as glazing corners . Traditionally, they serve as a connecting element for fastening single glass in the glass rebate of a window sash (made of wood ), and also for fixing blind backs of pictures in the rebates of wooden picture frames . They are also used in ammunition strips for so-called high-speed nailers. The advantage of using glazing corners instead of simple nailsThe reason for fastening the pane is that it is loaded not only on a very small point, but on a slightly wider area. This reduces the risk of breakage.
