The Gleaner Heights are a number of hills in the eastern part of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . They extend southwest from Leslie Hill .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1958 after the US brig Gleaner , which operated seal hunting in the waters around the South Shetland Islands between 1820 and 1821.
