Equality

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Equal freedom (French: égaliberté ) is a neologism coined by the French philosopher Étienne Balibar . As a concept, it implies that the conditions of freedom are the same as those of equality . Freedom and equality are to be defined as “forms of expression of the communal existence of people and institutions”. An excess of community would stifle individuality, an excess of property would crush community.
