Equality Directive
As Equal Treatment Directive following acts are European Community or the European Union in the field of gender equality policy shall apply:

Council Directive 75/117 / EEC of February 10, 1975 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States on the application of the principle of equal pay for men and women ("Equal Pay Directive")

Council Directive 76/207 / EEC of 9 February 1976 on the implementation of the principle of equal treatment for men and women with regard to access to employment, vocational training and career advancement and with regard to working conditions ("Equal Treatment Directive")
- No longer in force since August 14, 2009, repealed by Art. 34 (1) Directive 2006/54 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of July 5, 2006 on the implementation of the principle of equal opportunities for men and women in matters of employment , see recital 1
- Council Directive 79/7 / EEC of 19 December 1978 on the progressive implementation of the principle of equal treatment for men and women in matters of social security
