description

The one-story building features motifs from the Arts and Crafts movement . The front of the building faces south and is dominated by three gables, the middle of which is the widest and set back a little. The roofs have high angles of inclination . At the back there is a staircase in a semicircular tower, which is surrounded by small twin windows and a sundial and shows a plaque with the year of construction 1927. As in south-west Scotland, the facades are traditionally plastered with Harl . In the interior, the decorative plastering as well as the artfully painted glass surfaces and ceramic tiles are particularly worth mentioning. The property is enclosed by a quarry stone wall. The entrance is framed by goal posts with a square base, which end with small obelisks .
