Mönchfeld bell tower

The bell tower Mönchfeld was a 31 m high bell tower of the Protestant church Mönchfeld in Stuttgart-Mönchfeld in the district Mulhouse in Stuttgart .

history

The free-standing reinforced concrete church tower was built in 1966.

In order to raise funds for the renovation of the church building in need of restoration, the Protestant church sold the tower property on which residential houses were later built. The tower building was demolished on February 7, 2009 after the concrete structure of the bell tower withstood three attempts to detonate it.
