Gluri-Suter-Huus

The Gluri-Suter-Huus is a stand-protected half-timbered house in Aargau Wettingen in Switzerland . It is located in the old village center and belongs to the municipality. She has been using the house as a gallery since 1972. It also houses two kindergartens and the Wettingen puppet theater is located in the basement.

history

The house was built in 1741 in the style of a vintner's house in the Zurich lowlands. Originally it was owned by the Huser family and came to Leon Suter-Huser through marriage around 1900, after whose family it bears its current name. It has been under cantonal protection since 1963.
