Gnaeus Cornelius Blasio (Proconsul)

Gnaeus Cornelius Blasio was a Roman senator and politician. He belonged to the important Cornelier family .

From 199 to 196 BC BC Blasio was proconsul in this side of Spain . He was given special powers ( imperium extra ordinem ). For his success there he was honored with an Ovatio . 194 BC He became praetor of the province of Sicilia . 196 BC He was en route on a diplomatic mission as envoy.
