Gnucleus is a free file sharing program that supports the Gnutella and Gnutella2 protocols .
The goals are a stable and secure program that is easy to use on the one hand and offers numerous options on the other. Since Gnucleus runs natively on Windows systems (written in C ++ ), it is both fast and saves resources.
The program is mainly known because the network kernel was separated from the GUI of the program under the name GnucDNA and is still used today as the basis of many other Gnutella and Gnutella2 clients.
