Goaribari Island ( German  Goaribari Island or Goaribari Island ) is an island belonging to the Gulf Province of Papua New Guinea in the Gulf of Papua in the delta of the Kikori River .

At the 2000 census, 100 inhabitants were found, 68 of them in the village of Dopima on the east coast and 32 in Goare on the west coast.

In 1901 the Scottish missionary James Chalmers was eaten on it together with the English missionary Oliver Fellows Tomkins and their companions.
