Goin 'through
Goin 'Through is a Greek pop band that specializes in Greek rap and hip hop .
The group was founded in 1993 by Michalis Papathanasiou (Μιχάλης Παπαθανασίου) and Nikos Vourliotis ("NIVO" - Νίκος Βουρλιώτης) and brought out their first album "Αναζήτηση" ( Anazitisi 'search', 'research') in 1995. The group became known with the remake of an old song Γαρύφαλλε - Γαρύφαλλε, which they recorded together with the original singer of this piece, the Greek entertainer and actor Vlassis Bonatsos , who died in 2004 . In 1999 the single Θέλω να γυρίσω ( Thelo na giriso 'I want to return') was released, a duet with the singer Giorgos Mazonakis . The single was a huge hit and even went platinum. Her next hit was a single CD with the title Εκεί που βρίσκεται το φώς ( Eki pou vriskete to fos 'There, where the light is').
In 2002 her album Συμβόλαιο Τιμής (Contract of Honor) was released, which was created in collaboration with several well-known Greek artists. In 2004 "La Sagrada Familia" followed, for which the group was recognized as the best Greek hip-hop group by the most famous Greek music TV station MAD TV. With their album "Vendetta", which was released in May 2006, they were in the top 5 of the Greek charts for a long time. The main track "Καλήμερα Ελλάδα (Good morning, Greece) has been downloaded over 200,000 times within a short time. Their next CD called mitικροί Θεοί ( Mikri thei 'Little Gods') also contains some videos and the story of the group. The album Goin' Through - THE DUETS (released in 2006) followed in December 2007 the album "Veto".
