Entrance to the Golden Hall

A hall in the Zeppelin grandstand in Nuremberg is called the Golden Hall . The walls of the approx. 335 m² large hall are clad with marble slabs, the ceiling approx. 8 m high is decorated with gold shimmering mosaics.

The original purpose and use of the golden hall during the Nazi party rallies is no longer known today. From 1985 to 2001 it housed the exhibition Fascination and Violence , which initiated the Documentation Center for the Nazi Party Rally Grounds. Today (as of 2016) the golden hall can only be visited as part of a guided tour of the Nazi party rally grounds.
