Good News - Gute Nachrichten aus Stuttgart is a weekly newspaper with the concept of only publishing good news from Stuttgart, the capital of Baden-Württemberg. It was first published on September 15, 2007 as a monthly newspaper. The newspaper appeared weekly for the first time on October 16, 2010.

concept

Good News was created with the concept that more attention should be paid to the sides of Stuttgart that are generally perceived as beautiful . The optimistic attitude is reflected in the sections of the weekly newspaper. Good News does not work with the classic department names “Politics”, “Economy”, “Sport” and “Culture”, but chooses adjectives for naming the departments . These adjectives - "great", "successful", "sporty", "happy" etc. - are intended to reflect the facets of Stuttgart that can be found in the weekly newspaper. When preparing the topics, the focus is often on the people behind the topics. Good News sees itself as impartial and politically neutral and is characterized by a regional focus on the city of Stuttgart. The weekly newspaper is printed on newsprint. Good News originally appeared in the Berlin format , but has been printed in the Rhenish format since the changeover to weekly publication . The use of images gives it a magazine-like character.

target group

Good News is sent as a direct mail to the residents of Stuttgart, Gerlingen and Filderstadt.
