Gotha Psalter
The Gotha Psalter (No. 27 after Rahlfs ) is a fragment of a psalter from the 9th century. It contains the text of Psalms 1.1 to 67.8 and 68.6 to 70.11 in Greek . A Latin interlinear translation is inserted between the lines , complete up to Psalm 12, incomplete up to Psalm 17. The words are separated by dots, which indicates that it was made by Irish Scottish monks .
The manuscript was in the Murbach monastery in Alsace . It came to the ducal library in Gotha at the beginning of the 19th century at the latest . Today it is in the Gotha Research Library with the signature Membr. I 17.
