The Gothaer Systems GmbH , in short Gothaer Systems, part of the group of companies of the Gothaer insurance and manages the technology and organization of Gothaer. In addition, it provides the infrastructure for access to data and business processes. The employees of Gothaer Systems develop and support all company-specific applications of Gothaer.
The company, based in Cologne, has 624 permanent employees as well as 28 dual students and 19 working students (as of March 1, 2020). In the 2019 financial year, sales amounted to 172.9 million euros.
The service portfolio of Gothaer Systems includes, among others
- Development and integration of new and existing application systems
- Advice on all IT issues in the group
- Management of the application systems during operation
- Provision of the entire IT infrastructure and services in the group: on-premises and in the cloud
history
In 1994 Gothaer outsourced data processing to Informationsverarbeitung und Dienstleistungen GmbH (IDG). On October 15, 2008 the IDG was officially renamed Gothaer Systems GmbH. This should make the clear focus on the Gothaer insurance group visible. In 2018 the company was fundamentally redesigned.
