Green area

The term green area denotes

  • the totality of the agricultural, forestry and horticultural areas as well as the horticultural and landscape maintenance activities ( gardening and landscaping ).
  • Often the tolerance range " everything is in the green area " on a measuring instrument , which marks the correct operation (also colloquially) in contrast to the red area for an impermissible state.
  • in German legal jargon, the areas of law that are dealt with by the journal Commercial Legal Protection and Copyright because the cover of this journal is green.
