Green concrete

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Green concrete is ready-made fresh concrete installed in the formwork immediately after compacting and before it solidifies .

The property of green concrete to retain its shape after demoulding is called green stability . It is important in the production of certain precast concrete parts (immediate demoulding) and when using sliding formwork .

"Green" is not to be understood in the sense of "environmentally conscious", but in the sense of "immature". But there is also the designation green concrete or green cement for more environmentally friendly concrete such as Celitement .
