Grabert shipyard in Havelberg

The Grabert shipyard was founded in 1893 by Robert Marks and Franz Grabert in Havelberg .

The shipyard was located on the Havel in the middle between the two former squares of the Electoral Shipyard and the Royal Sea Shipyard . Repairs for ships from the Havel and Elbe regions were mainly carried out on the slipway.

The two founders separated in 1903 and, according to another source, a barge named Auguste was built at the Grabert shipyard in 1894 in 1904 . It was delivered to a Silesian shipping company in Breslau .

In 1914, the inland freighter Fahrwohl was built here in Havelberg with a length of 59 m, 8 m wide and 2.15 m draft and a tonnage of 660 t for Berlin, which was powered by a MAK engine.

In 1927 or 1928 an inland freighter was built at the Grabert shipyard that was delivered to a Hamburg shipping company.
